Title Alliance Ltd., a RESPA-compliant joint venture title company added Kristine Paolino Taylor as president and Amy Devine as operations manager of Title Alliance of Maine in Portland, Maine. Last month the company announced its first venture in Maine and its 18th venture with Keller Williams.
Taylor is a veteran of the title insurance industry and has been a title attorney for over 10 years. She has handled both commercial and residential real estate closings from start to finish: abstracting the titles, processing, resolving title issues and performing closings. She is a 2001 graduate of the University of Maine School of Law, earning her Juris Doctor degree, and Cum Laude from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1996 where she earned a bachelor’s degree.
“We are very excited to launch Title Alliance of Maine, LLC with the commitment of providing exceptional customer service while catering to the specific needs of realtors, lenders and their clients,” Taylor said.
Devine has 15 years of experience in the title industry with an expertise in both commercial and residential transactions. She is a specialist in handling processing, banking, finances, post-closing and marketing.
“Since Amy and I have been in the title industry for over 28 years combined, it affords us the ability to handle the closing transactions from start to finish, thus adding a more personal touch,” said Taylor. “We will both be processing and closing deals, and in addition I will be abstracting titles and curing title defects so potential issues can be resolved quickly.”
Beginning Feb. 1, Title Alliance of Maine will be available as a full-service title company, offering a range of services including title and escrow needs for the public, the construction industry, attorneys, banks, real estate and other lenders. The company will offer title insurance, preparation of closing costs, payoffs, title searches, assistance with coordinating and preparing closing papers, 1031 exchanges to defer capital gains, disbursement of mortgage funds and act as a notary public.
“We are proud that we have created such a strong team to lead our first venture in Maine,” said Nancy Warner, managing partner of Title Alliance. “We know Amy and Kristine will not only offer years of knowledge, but they will lead Title Alliance of Maine into a successful future, exceeding the needs of their clients.”
