Williston Financial Group, the parent company of WFG National Title Insurance Co., has appointed Donald O’Neill as executive vice president of institutional services.

O’Neill will oversee the strategic growth and operations of Williston Financial Group’s centralized production divisions, including WFG Lender Services and WFG’s Default Services group. He comes to WFG with 30 years of experience in mortgage and real estate services, most recently as chief operating officer and associate general counsel for Altisource’s Premium Title.

Previously, he was president, origination practice group and chief risk officer for ISGN Solutions. Before that, O’Neill was group president and chief operating officer for one of the industry’s largest title insurance underwriters, where he oversaw the operational performance and financial results of that company’s Real Estate Information Group. O’Neill is licensed to practice law in Utah and Washington State and is a member of the United State Supreme Court Bar – Washington D.C.  He received his juris doctorate and MBA from Gonzaga University.

“Our clients increasingly seek centralized production options for their transactions, and we do not see this trend abating for quite some time,” said Patrick Stone, WFG president and chief executive officer.  “Don comes to WFG with a wide breadth of industry experience as well as an unflinching commitment to the customer. We are confident his customer-oriented approach will quickly make him a valuable resource for our clients.”
